Humility and conviction can coexist

The universe of knowledge is so breathtakingly vast that each of us can only possibly know a tiny sliver of all that exists now and all that existed before.

What we know today can very well change tomorrow. With every bit of new information that enters our consciousness, our longheld beliefs are tested and become subject to change.

So since every day can and probably will bring new insight and greater wisdom, wouldn’t it make sense for us to live lives of constant humility?

To stand firm behind the evidence we know today while staying flexible to the evidence that we may learn tomorrow.

Humility and conviction can and should coexist in each of us.
